Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom Launched in India through an online event. These Smartphones are the successor of the Realme x2 series which was launched last year. Highlighting features of these smartphones are 120Hz display, quad rear cameras, and dual selfie cameras. The Realme X3 series also comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC and includes a liquid cooling system with an eight-millimetre diameter vapour tube.

As far as we talk about the difference between these two models, the Realme X3 SuperZoom comes with a periscope-style lens setup which has 5x optical zoom, whereas the Realme X3 comes with a telephoto lens which has 2x optical zoom support.

Realme X3 comes in two colour variations that are Arctic White and Glacier Blue. This smartphone comes in two different RAM and storage variant. 6GB/128GB variant going for sale at Rs. 24,999 while 8GB/128GB is available for Rs.25,999.

Display

Realme X3 series sports a 6.57 inches Full HD+ In-cell LCD Display. It has a resolution of 2400 × 1080 Pixels with 480 nits brightness. These smartphones have a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The display panel has a 120Hz refresh rate with partial application support and also has a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has an oleophobic coating hence it provides a certain amount of finger smudge resistance smartphone’s display. The display panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Performance

Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom run on Realme UI based on Android 10. Realme X3 series house a powerful but a year-old Snapdragon 855+ Octa-Core Processor which clocked at 2.96 GHz. It is paired with Adreno 640 GPU. This processor built on a 7nm architecture that’s why it is a very power-efficient processor.

RAM type used in these phones is LPDDR4X and storage type used is UFS 3.0. Realme X3 comes in two RAM variants i.e. 6GB/8GB and one storage variant i.e. 128GB. Whereas Realme X3 SuperZoom also comes in two RAM variants 8GB/12GB and two storage variants 128GB/256GB.

These Smartphones has a 4200 mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge which is Realme’s proprietary fast charging technology.

Camera

On the rear, the Realme X3 has a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and it has a 78.6° field of view. This camera has a Samsung GW1 sensor which has 1/ 1.7″ sensor size. The second one is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.3 and has 119° field of view. It has a 12-megapixel telelens camera with f/2.5 aperture. The fourth one is a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture and capable of taking images from as near as 4cm. The rear camera setup has autofocus. On the front, Realme X3 has a dual-camera setup. One is 16MP primary camera with an f/2.1 aperture and has a 79.3° field of view. It is a Sony IMX 471 sensor. Another one is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and has a 103° field of view.

Realme X3 SuperZoom has same rear cameras except for 8MP periscope lens in the place of 12MP telelens. This periscope lens has an f/3.4 aperture and has a 5x optical zoom. It also supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). On the front, it has 32MP primary camera with an f/2.5 aperture and has 80.4° field of view. It is a Sony IMX 616 sensor. The secondary front camera is the same as of Realme X3 has.

Connectivity and Sensors

The Realme X3 series has a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. If we can talk about connectivity options, it includes GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G. These phones come with 2.4/5GHz dual-band wifi with all supported protocols 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi. These smartphones include all sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and fingerprint sensor. Realme X3 also supports Face Unlock. As far as navigation concerned, it has dual-frequency GPS and it supports GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU, GALILEO, QZSS.
