OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone was launched in previous month on April 14th 2020. In an online event two smartphones OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro were launched. It is rumoured that another phone OnePlus 8 Lite is also there in this series which is lighter version of these two smartphones. It is the most expensive smartphone OnePlus has ever made. But still it is cheaper than other flagship phones which are available in the market right now while provides a superior experience in many ways.

Design
The OnePlus 8 Pro proposes a totally different approach in design than its predecessor the OnePlus 7T Pro. It has 3D curved glass on front & back sides and in the top left corner of the display it has a punch-hole camera.There’s a quad-camera setup at the back with the fourth camera placed on the side of the main module. OnePlus 8 Pro has IP68 rating which shows this device has water and dust resistant capability.
Display
The phone features 6.78″ QHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.8:9. It has a resolution of 1440×3168 pixels with a pixel density of 513 pixels per inch (ppi). OnePlus 8 Pro sports a full fledged 120 Hz AMOLED Fluid display with maximum brightness upto 1300nits. This is a notable upgrade over the 90Hz refresh rates present on the OnePlus 7 series. It is also a HDR10+ certified smartphone and therefore has a high color accuracy.
Specifications
OnePlus 8 Pro houses a powerful flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor which is an octa-core processor . It comes in two different variant one is 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and other one is 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. OnePlus 8 Pro has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 on both the variant. This smartphones runs on its proprietary OxygenOS which is based on Android 10. It is powered by a 4510 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. The OnePlus 8 Pro supports wireless charging with its proprietary Warp Charge 30T. It is the first phone from OnePlus which supports wireless charging.
Camera
At the front, OnePlus 8 Pro has a single in-display punch hole selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.45 aperture which has a 1.0-micron pixel size.
As far as the rear cameras are concerned, the OnePlus 8 Pro has a 48-megapixel primary camera(IMX686 sensor) with f/1.78 aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size; a second 8-megapixel zoom camera with f/2.44 aperture and a pixel size of 1.0-micron; The third 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera(IMX586 sensor) with f/2.2 aperture and the fourth 5-megapixel photochrome camera with f/2.4 aperture. Autofocus and OIS features are pre-enabled in rear camera setup.

Connectivity and Sensors
As far as the connectivity options are concerned, OnePlus 8 Pro has Wi-Fi-6, GPS, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC and USB Type-C. OnePlus 8 Pro also supports 4G and 5G networks on both the SIM with dual standby mode.
OnePlus 8 Pro has all the necessary sensors include in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass / magnetometer etc. It also supports Face Unlock which is obviously very fast.
